You could wake up to this every morning if you choose to stay in one of our two “Vafios Houses”. The “Vafios Houses” are
located in Vafios, a traditional, quaint village, just five kilometers from the beach of Molyvos and 64 kilometers from the capital
of Lesvos, Mytilene. Built individually, each house is located in a beautiful garden, both overlooking the picturesque village of
Molyvos, Mount Lepetymnos and the Aegean Sea.
If you want your holiday to become an experience, you are on the right path. “Vafios Houses” could become your Greek home.
Lush rose gardens surround you in a garden where we also grow organic fruit and vegetables (zucchini, grapes, tomatoes,
herbs, etc. ) used every day in our Taverna
Vafios. The taverna is known for its authentic traditional dishes and its unique
character and it’s only 100 metres away from your doorstep.
Each house is 60sqm with two separate rooms, a bathroom and two balconies with the most breathtaking view of Molyvos and
the Aegean Sea. There is a spacious master bedroom and an open area with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator,
coffee maker, kettle, cookware etc.) and a dining - living room area with satellite TV, DVD, armchairs, sofa (which converts to
two beds for extra guests) and a fireplace, so you can visit throughout the year.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel, etc. and of course hot water at all times. Free internet, air
conditioning and central heating are also provided. Cleaning and changing of linen are offered twice a week, and firewood is
supplied for your precious moments in front of the fire place, should you wish to experience the real Greece in winter.
Vafios is a beautiful village that will impress you, not only because its nature is unique and fascinating, but also because the
view is breathtaking and the atmosphere so serene. Vafios will grow on you because of its people, who you will probably make
friends with at the local café. Vafios will become your favorite destination because local delicacies will be at your doorstep, in
addition to a network of hiking and cycling paths offering you every day the thrill and excitement one needs to leave all troubles
behind.
